Who Can Apply for a Grant
The Audrey Tyler Foundation is committed to supporting organisations and initiatives which can apply for a grant that will enhance the lives of Brecon residents. Each year, we offer grants to help fund projects, activities, and facilities that promote education, social welfare, recreation, and the arts.
We Welcome Applications from:
Local Charities & Community Groups – Supporting projects that benefit the wider community.
Educational Institutions – Schools, colleges, and learning programs seeking funding for resources, workshops, or extracurricular activities.
Sports Clubs & Recreational Groups – Helping provide equipment, facilities, and opportunities for people to stay active.
Music & Performing Arts Organisations – Supporting groups that promote music, drama, and the arts within the community.
Youth Organisations – Groups such as Scouts, Guides, and youth clubs that offer safe and engaging activities for young people.
Heritage & Cultural Projects – Initiatives that preserve and celebrate Brecon’s local history, traditions, and cultural events.

Sharing the success of the organisations we’ve supported help make what we do worth while. From local festivals to school music programs, our grants have enabled countless initiatives to flourish, enriching the lives of many in Brecon.
We are proud to support Brecon Mountain Rescue through the Audrey Tyler Trust’s grant program. Their dedicated team of 60 volunteers provides invaluable assistance in the Brecon Beacons and Mid Wales. BMR responds to over 100 emergency callouts each year.
Through high-quality productions, live orchestral music, and community participation,. With support from the Audrey Tyler Foundation, Brecon Festival Ballet continues to enhance artistic experiences, foster local talent, and enrich the cultural life of the town.
Thanks to support from the Audrey Tyler Foundation, Brecon Jazz continues to thrive. We help to ensure music lovers of all ages can experience outstanding performances, workshops, and community events. The festival not only showcases incredible talent but also brings people together through a shared love of jazz.
