The Audrey Tyler Foundation was founded in memory of Audrey Tyler, a remarkable woman who dedicated her life to enriching the cultural and social fabric of Brecon. Audrey passed away on May 25, 2013, at the age of 86, but her passion for community, music, and the arts lives on through the trust she created in her will.

Our Mission
The trust was established to promote the well-being of Brecon’s inhabitants by supporting projects and initiatives that:

• Advance education.
• Provide opportunities for social welfare and leisure activities.
• Focus on music and dramatic arts.

With the goal of improving the quality of life in Brecon, we aim to foster creativity, learning, and a sense of community for everyone.

Audrey’s Vision
Audrey spent her life immersed in the arts, particularly musicals and her involvement with the Brecon Amateur Dramatic Society (BATS). Her vision was to leave a legacy that would support the people of Brecon for generations to come, without distinction of gender, political beliefs, or religious affiliations.

Who We Support
Each year, the Audrey Tyler Foundation awards grants to local organisations, schools, and groups that align with its mission. We are proud to have supported a wide range of beneficiaries, including:

• Brecon Mountain Rescue, helping them provide life-saving services.
